Una Coleman's blog on mostly marketing stuff, 'cos I know something about that and other, 'cos I'm interested.
Earlier this year I set up Codegaconsulting providing outsourced marketing services, focusing particularly on the IT sector. My specialism is designing and implementing go-to market strategies for software and services companies who are expanding in their domestic market or entering new markets.
The journey so far. I left Ireland at the time of the other recession: spent a decade in Amsterdam and was fortunate enough to be involved in building a global brand and world leading direct marketing agency: from a start-up with 10 people working out of one office in Amsterdam to having offices in the triad economies. I’ve lived and worked in London and the US and been involved in all sorts of sticky and complex projects. Explaining the role of marketing to the nuclear physicists from the Los Alamos labs was challenging!
I was running across the snow covered New Mexican desert early on the morning of February 1, 2003 when I heard the space Shuttle Columbia explode over neighbouring Texas.
I returned to Ireland in 2004. My Irish green bike has accompanied me on my journey: it’s dusty and battered but still going strong.
My blog is a collection of facts and musings. It's not a bible: nothing is written in stone. The only real truth is that life is a journey and as the ad says, travel well.
